We consider the individual approach to the patient, in the Nado health center, to be extremely important, both at the very beginning during the examination and in the implementation of the therapy. At the first examination, the patient is introduced to the clinical condition, type and severity of the injury. It also introduces the method of therapy, the number of treatments required and the total time required for treatment. Every Thursday at the NADO Center Rijeka, a spine examination is performed by Bernard Nikšić NADO, director of the NADO Polyclinic Fizio Medico Center
Nado Center Rijeka conducts physical therapy based on decompression therapy of the spine, and other forms of physical therapy are performed within the center, such as electro therapy, laser therapy and manual therapy.
Spine decompression therapy is the only non-surgical treatment that is really effective in severe cases of disc herniation, degenerative joint disease, arthritis, stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal) and pressure on the nerve roots - a therapy to relieve pain in the back, legs and arms. Spine decompression therapy helps an injured disc to exchange nutrients with the bloodstream by isolating (placing the body in a specific position) on a specific spinal segment and "pumping" the disc - which the vertebrae normally do to the disc when everything is normal. This "pumping" of the disc stimulates the release of toxins from the disc, and allows nutrients to enter the disc from the blood flow capillaries.
Group exercises for the spine are based on a medical program and suit everyone (regardless of possible diseases of the spine) and the basic features are - small groups of exercisers (up to 8 people) and exercises that are adapted to age and physical condition .
Group exercises for the spine are held throughout the year twice a week at a specific time, always with the same therapists, and last 50-60 minutes.
Our vision is happy people with no problems in the spine and locomotor system.
That is why we strive to become one of the leading centers for non-operative spinal decompression therapy (DTK) and scoliosis
treatment in the world.
